The Battlecruiser is the end of the line in Hiigaran warships. Fully capable of fending off attacks from any other class of ships, bristling with anti-fighter and corvette guns that have high accuracy, main cannons for frigate engagements and a set of Ion Cannons on the top and bottom capable of dealing devastating blows to other capital class ships.
These immense vessels take considerable resources and time to build and you can only field a limited number at a time, but their usefulness in your fleet is invaluable. You will always have at least 2 slots reserved in your Capital class quota for Batttlecruisers.
Finally, thanks to the install-able modules, Battlecruisers can bring advanced sensors or a Fire Control tower into the field along with them, helping increase the combat effectiveness of all other friendly ships nearby.
